Music Lessons for Guitar and Stand Up Bass
The Wild Rose features bluegrass, gospel and old country music and concentrates on songs that tell a story of people and their joys and trials.
I have sang as long as I can remember, and grew up one of several children in a migrant farm family that picked cotton in the boot-heel region of Missouri during harvest season, and then wintered near other family members around Dixon, Missouri. I have played rhythm guitar for thirty years or so, and also play the bass fiddle, and I have a vast collection of folk songs, ballads, bluegrass, and country songs, including several songs that I have written. I am a retired teacher and enjoy flowers and fishing along with the love of music.
I love to sing gospels and have several albums that have old time hymns, and some that I have written. I love to touch people in their hearts and strive to please the Lord in all that I do.
